Return & Exchange Policy

At Being Basics, we want you to love what you wear. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.

Return Policy

 

Items can be returned for:

  • Exchange, or

  • Refund as store credit only

We do not offer refunds to the original payment method.

Return Eligibility

 

To be eligible for a return:

  • You must contact us within 15 days of delivery

  • Items must be:

    • Unworn and unwashed

    • In original condition

    • With all tags and labels attached

How to Request a Return

  • Order Number

  • Order Date

  • Product Name / Code

  • Reason for Return (see codes below)

Return Reason Codes:

 

  1. Looks different from image on site

  2. Ordered more than one size

  3. Arrived too late

  4. Poor quality / faulty

  5. Doesn’t fit properly

  6. Doesn’t suit me

  7. Incorrect item received

  8. Parcel damaged on arrival

Exchanges

 

  • Exchanges must be requested within 15 days of delivery

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs

  • We will cover the shipping cost of the replacement item

  • We recommend contacting us early so we can reserve your preferred size/item

Refunds (Store Credit)

 

  • Full-priced items are eligible for store credit refunds

  • Sale items are eligible for exchange or store credit only

  • Once your return is received and inspected, you will receive a confirmation email

  • Store credit will be issued after approval

Shipping Costs

 

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

  • If the item is damaged, faulty, or incorrect, we will cover the return shipping
